I just finished a massive project for a client that resulted in nearly 1,000 assets (different file types, colors, etc) so that the ZIP file is waaaay too large to share via Honeybook. I’m thinking my next best option is either Dropbox or Google Drive, but I’m curious what other Honeybook users are doing given the max attachment size is pretty small. Thoughts?

For a delivery that large, Google Drive is the most practical option - you can organize by folder (file type, color variant, etc.) so the client can actually navigate the assets rather than unzipping one massive file.
A couple of options that work well:

  • Google Drive: shared folder per client, easy for them to browse without needing to unpack anything
  • Dropbox Transfer: creates a one-time download link, no Dropbox account required on the client's end

For keeping everything tidy in HoneyBook: you can add the sharing link directly to the project workspace as a bookmark so it lives alongside the contract and invoice. You can learn more about project bookmarks here.

@Shayla Body - Hey there! As a brand designer and Honeybook Pro my process is exactly what Monica shared. I package up all of my files in a Dropbox folder and I share that link. :) I have also used WeTransfer in the past to send files as well. I don’t share any files within Honeybook outside of just the download link. :) If you have any specific questions for me and my process please feel free to reach out! 💛
