Australians need GST inclusive pricing in lead forms.

In Australia by law we are required to show pricing including GST, but on my lead form where I display service options for client to choose from, it's only showing the ex-gst price. If I change that price to include gst, then when the invoice is created it will add GST a second time, as the invoice needs to display the GST componenet.

We really need (by law) to be able to display the GST inclusive price when showing price of goods and services.

Can you please update the pricing field to be the total incl. GST or show Price breakdown before the invoice stage. I can’t use the forms as is.

Thank you!

@angelique_aus - I can definitely see the issue you're running into here, especially since you need to display GST-inclusive pricing to your clients while still having the GST component properly reflected on the final invoice.

It sounds like the current Lead Form setup doesn't give you a way to accomplish both without either displaying the ex-GST price to the client or effectively adding GST twice if you build it into the service price.

Since you're looking for a change to how HoneyBook displays pricing on Lead Forms, I would recommend searching the Ideas section for something related to GST-inclusive pricing, tax-inclusive pricing, or Lead Form tax display. If there's already an Idea, definitely upvote it and add your Australian use case. If there isn't, I would submit this as a new Idea so other members can vote on it as well.

I would include exactly what you've explained here because the distinction is important: you need the client-facing service price to display inclusive of GST, while the resulting invoice still needs to properly identify the GST component rather than adding GST again.

This would also be helpful feedback for HoneyBook as they continue supporting businesses in markets where tax-inclusive pricing is needed.
