Feature Request: Automations That Check Booking Status Across All Projects

Question

I’d love to see automations that can check if a date is already booked across all projects—not just the current inquiry.

When a new inquiry comes in for a specific date, I want HoneyBook to automatically:

Check if any project for that date is already booked (retainer paid or contract signed)
Send an “Unavailable” email if booked, or an “Availability and Pricing” email if not

This would help me avoid double-booking and respond to clients faster. Right now, automations only check the status within the inquiry project, which isn’t enough for my workflow.

It looks like this was submitted as a question, but to get the most traction, it would be best to post it in the Feature Request / Ideas section instead.That way, others who are looking for the same update can upvote it, and the development team can more easily gauge interest and demand. You may also want to do a quick search first to see if there are any existing feature requests already submitted that are along the same lines, so support can be consolidated in one place.I did a quick search and you may find something here that is similar.
