I can't tell the difference when someone replies back!

So I am new to Honeybook and I am enjoying the lay out so far, but my only concern is when I get an Inquiry, I reply back, but I CANNOT tell when they reply back to my email. There doesn’t seem to be any sort of indication that they have read and replied back to my initial response. Sometimes it’ll say “new activity” if I change the layout to “Table View” and it’ll say something on “recent activity” but I have noticed if I do not manually check each message I am surely missing some reply backs. Is there a way HoneyBook can make the new responses BOLD or an icon appears that there is a new message in the thread? I have seen some responses days late because of this.

Even when I sort by recent activity, it is not very accurate and actually doesn’t sort them from most recent activity. I believe this should be even if I reply back to 10 messages and sort by recent activity I should be able to see them in order or reverse order of my messaging them to help with consistency.

I apologize in advance if I am missing something or ignorant. I am new to HoneyBook, which I do enjoy the software, just this one feature would be incredible to help me stay on track. Also, I am mainly using a PC and not the APP on my phone.

Sincerely,

HI @HairByShay!

To respond to a client in HoneyBook, do you see a number next to the bell icon on the top right corner of your account? That should tell you when a client responds.

You can click the message and respond back ASAP.

This is the easiest and quickest way I’ve found that works for me when looking for responses.

Hey @HairByShay you may also need to review your notification settings and make sure your email is correctly connected to HoneyBook. That way you get an email notification when a lead or client responds.

Hi,

Thank you for the responses. I guess the (good) problem for both of these suggestions, is that there is so many notifications. I genuinely cannot keep up. New notifications are mixed with responses and for the emails, i had to turn it off as I was getting bombarded with emails constantly and it was taking over my inbox.

Thank you for your help. I am very grateful.
