HB Community,

I wanted to share a quick update with the community based on a recent experience I had with HoneyBook.

I emailed detailed feedback to Honeybook outlining several challenges we’ve been experiencing with the platform. As a result, I was invited to participate in a video meeting with Oz (CEO) and Yuval (Chief Product Officer).

During the meeting, we had a thorough discussion about how my business operates, how we’re using HoneyBook day to day, and where things have been falling short. It was a very open and productive conversation, and I was able to speak candidly about both frustrations and opportunities for improvement.

When asked about potential new features, I was very direct. I shared that, at least from my perspective and based on what I see from other users, the priority should not be adding more features. The focus should be on fixing what already exists. We need reliable, basic functionality without workarounds, not more layers that create additional friction.

After years of running into some of these issues, it was refreshing to feel like the feedback was truly heard and taken seriously.

I can’t say what changes will or won’t come from it, but I did want to share this with the group. Sometimes it feels like feedback disappears into a void, but in this case, it clearly made it to the right people.

If you have concerns or ideas, it’s worth taking the time to share them. There are people listening, even at the highest level.

@SJWeddingPros - Thank you for sharing this, it’s really encouraging to hear. 💛

One thing I’ve consistently appreciated about HoneyBook is how much they genuinely care about their members and the community. I haven’t come across many companies that are as willing to listen, engage in real conversations, and take feedback seriously at that level.

Your experience reinforces that, especially the focus on improving core functionality, which I think a lot of us can agree is incredibly important.

It’s a great reminder that sharing feedback (even when it feels like it might go unheard) can actually make its way to the right people.

Thanks again for taking the time to advocate for the community, it benefits all of us.

Patrick, appreciate you taking the time to write this out.

Our conversation was super helpful for Oz and me, and I'm glad you felt heard, because we are listening.

We're taking your points on reliability and friction to heart as we think about what’s next.

Thanks again!
