Question

I would like to remove "Tentative" from my calendared projects without a contract or invoice

I do not use signed contracts, and I usually only require payment on the date of the project. Therefore, as soon as I move a project into the planning stage of the pipeline, for all intents and purposes, the project is “booked”. I would like to reflect this fact on the calendar but it does not seem that this is possible. Am I correct?

@Nick Cruz - Yes, HoneyBook typically considers a project “booked” once there is a signed contract and/or paid invoice tied to it, which is why simply moving it into a planning stage doesn’t reflect the same way on the calendar/reporting side.

One workaround many people use is sending a $0 invoice (or minimal invoice) so the project can move through the booked workflow structure without requiring payment upfront. That can help trigger some of the “booked” behaviors within HoneyBook while still allowing you to collect payment later on the project date. 💛
