Why do the events/dates/times I add to the ‘Details’ page of a project not sync with the calendar? Am I missing a step?

Can you try in Incognito mode or clear your cache on your computer? This might help! Let me know how it goes.

@Haley Kinard - From what I’ve seen, the date and time fields in the Project Details section are mainly for reference and don’t automatically create or block a calendar event. So if you enter something like a wedding date there, it will show inside the project but it won’t appear on the HoneyBook calendar or block that time.

Calendar events typically only show up when something is scheduled through the HoneyBook scheduler, a meeting is created, or a calendar event is added directly to your connected calendar.

A small workaround many people use is to create a calendar event (or block) once the project is booked so the date is reserved on their calendar. Some people even add this as a quick step in their workflow after booking so it happens automatically as part of their process.

If anyone has found a way to sync the Project Details date directly to the calendar, I’d love to hear it too, it’s definitely something that comes up often!
