Scheduling Change to Calendar Makes No Sense

I used to be able to go to schedular and make changes to specific types of meetings on particular days.  Example: On Mondays I have Tour Times and Planning sessions.  I used to be able to remove just sessions which is the meetings i handle. My partner does the tours. but now if i need to remove something it clears the entire day and no one can book anything at all.  The prior way was easier to micro control.  I was out of town a few days and we were unable to book the client tours ( my partner would have done)  would have been easy to just edit instead of remove everything and have to remake the tours selection only all over again. i don’t really have time to have to re-enter things all over again.

I was having tons of problems with the scheduler. I opted to use Calendly and I absolutely love it.

​@A Theme Come True - I can definitely see how this would be frustrating when you have multiple session types being handled by different team members on the same day.

It sounds like what you're needing is the ability to adjust availability for one specific session type without blocking availability for every other session type that day. In your example, you would want to make yourself unavailable for Planning Sessions while still allowing clients to book Tours with your partner.

If there isn't currently a way to accomplish that same level of session-specific availability with the updated Scheduler, I would definitely search the Ideas section to see if there's an existing request you can upvote. If not, I think this would be worth submitting as a feature request and including this exact example. It does a great job of showing why businesses with multiple meeting types or team members need more granular control over availability. 💛
