Duplicate smart files across projects

Creating new smart files has never been so easy. Now, you can duplicate smart files in the same, or across other, projects.

AI actions

AI actions bring the most useful HoneyBook AI tools—like email drafts, project insights, and suggested action items—to your pipeline and project workspaces. With just a few clicks, you can get quick, focused support exactly when and where you need it.

Meeting notetaker for in-person meetings

Use the new in-person notetaker on the mobile app to capture in-person conversations. The notetaker will prompt you to enable recording for an IRL chat, then generate notes shortly after the meeting wraps up. Whether you're leading a presentation or catching up with a client over coffee, just hit record to start taking notes automatically.

Archived date shown in pipeline and reports

Gain clearer visibility into your project history with archived dates now shown in your pipeline and reports. You can also sort projects by their archived date directly from the pipeline to uncover deeper insights.

Add smart fields to subject lines

Now, you can add smart fields to your email subject lines to automatically populate key client and project details. Consider adding these to your email templates for even more time savings.

HoneyBook AI chat threads and history

Keep your HoneyBook AI conversations organized with separate threads for each conversation. It’s easier than ever to revisit past chats or start fresh, so you can stay focused and keep every topic clear.

New features are rolled out in batches to ensure steady deployment and might not be instantly accessible. Feel free to contact our Support team if you have any questions.

I’m sure many like these new features but can we fix existing issues first before adding more? I’ve asked multiple times to have the transaction fee represented on payment receipts - either directly or by showing the net amount so it can be calculated quickly. Not all of us want AI and integrations - I don’t want to pay an additional fee for QuickBooks when my Google Sheet has worked just fine for years and my CPA loves how I provide my numbers. You already have the data because you claim it is on the “Completed Payments” report. So how about you use AI to include that info in the project?

Love the in-person notetaker @Monica R

Although I find it strange it needs to be a scheduled meeting. Often times in person meetings are less timely and more impromptu.

I wish this was just a clickable button to start a in-person note taker anytime needed. This would also be AMAZING to use for dictated notes for a project.

Great point @Stickler and totally hear ya @Jenna Deason. I’ve passed along this feedback to the product team!

Please add a description field for tasks, so that there is a Task Title and a Task Description.

Elissa Klein

Please process ACH transactions in 3 or fewer business days. At the end of the day, none of these features matter if you hold on to my revenue for 5-6 business days more than the standard.

@Monica R I was just told by a Honeybook Team member (verbatim) that there is “isn’t a feature that forces clients to complete every step of a file”. This is CRAZY & also is a big legal issue! I have been having a problem with clients paying their invoices without signing their contracts, even though my files are set up correctly and contract signatures are required. I personally do not care about AI features - can we get this existing issue addressed ASAP? I am making a separate post in the community with more details as well to bring awareness to this problem.

@Miranda Kelton , I wonder if you could set up your contract and invoice as separate files, and automate the invoice sending once all contract fields are completed and signed?

I have not had a problem with clients not signing the contract before paying. Probably because my clients generally have experience stewarding public funds, which requires a lot of contracts. But that’s odd that someone would skip signing and just pay you. Signing is the easy part - you just have to click! It’s the payments that I need to happen quicker.
