It’s that time again. Let’s check out what’s new for June 2024!

 

New

Tags

For enhanced contact and project management, we’ve added the ability to create and apply custom tags. Use tags to easily filter through your project pipeline and contacts list, assign priority, perform bulk actions, and more.

 

AI composer custom prompts

When the AI composer doesn’t have quite enough context to suggest a response, use custom prompts. Locate the project you’d like to send a response in, then enter prompts for the AI. An email response will be generated based on your instructions and tone, which you can quickly edit and send off.


Clients pick their payment plan 

We know that giving clients as seamless a booking experience as possible is key so now your clients can choose their own payment plan. With this new setting in invoice blocks, you can set the first payment due date, then choose the maximum number of payments your client can make toward the grand total. This new feature adds flexibility to the client experience and helps you get your first payments right away.

Improved CSV contact import flow

When you have all of your contacts in one place, you can communicate, collect data, and generally stay organized and in touch. We’ve recently improved the CSV contact import flow so that you can get all of your contact details into the system with even more ease.

 

New features are rolled out in batches to ensure steady deployment and might not be instantly accessible. Feel free to contact our Support team if you have any questions.

Please ask them to add the filter so it searches archived projects when searching tags.  Not just “active projects”

Hey hey Honeybook team! 

I LOVE the “Clients pick their payment plan” upgrade however when I try to add to it to a lead form to sell my VIP Day services it doesn’t seem to give me this option. Am I overlooking something? OR does this new feature not apply to the lead forms?

Hey @Nicole Crawley this is a great callout actually! This option is not available in Lead Forms for the time being, but I’ll make sure our team gets this feedback!

My recommendation for now would be using your lead from as is and then  tying the invoice (with the payment schedule selection option) to an automation that triggers to send once that lead form is submitted.

Let me know if that workaround fits your use-case here.

Will there be an option in the future to set the first payment amount as well as the due date for when the client selects payment plan option? 

 

I love them be able to choose what works best for them, but I require a specific amount for the retainer as the first payment.

@kdumo and @Danny Garcia yes! Love this idea. I know so many of our members would benefit from that first payment being more of a deposit and then allowing flexibility from there.

These are excellent improvements. I am trying to understand why we cannot map a website or industry field during import. We should be able to map any field on a .csv import, as would be available when manually adding an organization or client.

Hey @Landon Cruz great Question. At the moment the CSV upload is only available for contacts, not Organizations, so the fields will only be tied to those of contacts. But I love this idea, can you submit it to the feature request tab so our team sees it and others here can upvote if they need it too?

Is the “Clients pick their payment plan” rolled out to all yet? I am not seeing it and have a client that I would love to offer this option to. Is there a rough date of when it will be rolled out to all?

Love the clients pick their payment feature, however, there is no way to set when their final payment is due? We prefer that all clients be paid in full thirty days before the event.
