Is there no place to get real answers to my questions?
When I go to write an email on the Project Message Thread, occasionally, the cursor “sticks”. I will be typing away and there is a lag of up to one minute before the letters start repopulating the email. And, only in Honeybook, it occasionally freezes all together. It only happens on Honeybook and I run cleaner programs on my MAC so it’s not a virus.
Things happen. I get that, But I just wandered all over this app to find some place where I can enter what problem I’m having and get some answers to fix it. Surprise! It’s not here. Is there some secret squirrel place where I can get some answers about issues I’m having or is Honeybook “help” strictly a warm fuzzy namaste serenity site now?
-- I also had an instance where a client sent me an inquiry and we started a thread. Then, months later, they sent another inquiry instead of getting back on the original thread and someone here started a new thread that now has several communications back and forth. When I contacted Honeybook to see how they could help me grab all the emails from the second thread and merge them into the first so I could delete that second, duplicate project, they said they can;t do that- there’s no protocol for it.
---Several years ago, I asked if they could all “year” to the calendar search, just like a Google calendar. I find myself having to click through months and months to check a project that might be two or three years in the future. This sometimes happens while I have a client on the phone and clicking too quickly, month after month to get to June 20, 2027 takes A WHILE. Honeybook said they don;’ offer that feature.
----I asked about giving us the ability to print out ONE email, instead of the whole thread, which may contain 30 plus emails. Guess what? They don’t offer that option.
Meanwhile, the software developers HAVE managed to add a whole later of annoying interruption to my workday by clogging my notifications area with intrusive and unwanted messages like
“Get back to Elise Brady & Evan Schroder—there's a strong chance of a high-value project for Nov 09, 2024.”
WTF? Honeybook is not my marketing director, or my supervisor, or my mother breathing over my shoulder to see if I was doing my homework.
Humor me- try searching for a way to shut off the “helpful” cheerleader messages on your notification area. I double dog dare you. YOU CAN’T. It’s the way the developer wrote the program. Canned, robotic, automated cheerleading notes that are taking up space on MY pages. With no way to shut them off.
What next? Are we going to start seeing advertising for wedding industry suppliers and catering companies scrolling along the side of our work areas?
This is akin to being in the privacy of your office and having a door to door salesperson barge into your space to try and “assist me” with my work.
Hey, Honeybook! How about doing what I pay you to do and let me easily, write emails to clients. Let me delete a duplicate project and merge content. Let me jump to 2027 on the calendar and be able to tell my potential client if the date they want is available. Let me have the option of printing out individual emails when I need a hard copy for a meeting.
And for dog’s sake, let me have the option to OPT OUT of all the unnecessary, annoying and ridiculous things you’ve been wasting time developing. How about that?
And get a real FAQ section for problems and not the teenage fantasy ones you offer.
Getting tired of the evasion tactics when it comes to obtaining solutions for basic function issues that should be offered in a platform like this.
