Multiple Booking For Photographers

Hi - Has anyone had success with booking multiple mini sessions at the same time? The Honeybook team told me it’s not possible, which I find ridiculous. I’ve been booking sessions where I need to have 2 photo areas with 2 photographers and I need people to be able to book a slot to either of the spots. With the way Honeybook is set up now, you can only have 1 session in a time slot, making 2 booking setups impossible.

I have the same problem.  I have a custom cookie business and want to allow multiple customers to schedule their pickup at the same time AND I want a “session” to have more than one participant as frequently one person books the appointment but has someone else picking up who needs to also get the confirmations/information about pickup.

Additionally, I have to make sure each project in HB is manually changed from “Busy” to “Free” or the entire day becomes blocked by a single project.

I want to LOVE scheduling (so happy to have it on one platform) but Calendly had so much more flexiblity - even the free version!

Similar problem here. We’re a non-profit Gala auction business and offer consultations with the organizations event team before the Gala. There may be one on the call, but more often than not there’s anywhere from 3-6. We need each person that should be on the call to get the reminders and have it on their calendar. Right now one is booking the session and forwarding to the rest. That doesn’t make us look very together and professional.

This is a super common need, especially for photographers running mini sessions with multiple setups or team members. And you're right: as of now, HoneyBook’s Scheduler doesn’t allow multiple people to book into the same time slot across different session types natively within one scheduler.

💡 Workaround Option:

Create Two Separate Schedulers

  • One for each photo area/photographer.

  • Each scheduler can have the same time blocks (e.g., 10am, 10:20am, etc.).

  • Share two booking links and label clearly for clients (e.g., “Photographer A” and “Photographer B”).

  • You could even create a Lead Form or a landing page that presents both options side-by-side for a cleaner experience.

I had tried this before and it didn’t work. It said I was already booked at the times listed so I couldn’t offer that time. I’ll try again but when a time was taken it took the slot away from both.

@PosieProductions - Oh shoot! I will try to play around with it and see if I can figure it out. :)
