Is there a way to “test” your booking link for Mini Sessions? I went in and changed my invoice to $0 but it is still wanting me to pay $1 in order to book. I would like to test as previously when someone would book a mini session my entire date would show up as “busy” and I would have to manually go in and edit that. I am trying to see if it still works this way or not. 

Hi! I chatted with a helpful HoneyBook agent and they stated that there isn’t a way to back up HoneyBook inquiries. I have used other CRMs in the past and there was usually a way to back up inquiries or have them sent to multiple email addresses. I want to make sure that all inquiries are captured, as I’ve had CRM glitches happen in the past where the inquiries did not parse to the CRM. Would anyone else find this helpful? The HoneyBook agent mentioned that they would pass my feedback along to the product team.

A past client signed up for Honeybook and now she’s unable to use her email address because it’s tied to a project I did for her.This seems crazy to me. I can’t update her email or remove her and she’s unable to use her business email.Is there a fix for this?

Is it possible to have links in our Honey Book documents open in a new tab? I sent a proposal to a client that includes work samples of a Google Slide I built. When they open it, it of course replaces my proposal with the Google Slide doc and the only way to get back to it is after clicking back through the seven paged slide. Am I missing something? the ability to add a button within our documents would be amazing. 

Is there a way to edit the client name on a smart file that has already been sent.  For example: I sent a proposal & contract to the client for signature & payment & they request that the contact be signed & sent to a colleague.  Honeybook is not allowing me to edit the client name & email signature on a file that has already been sent.  Am I wrong? Do I have to completely recreate the contract from the start?

Any ETA/updates on when we will be able to embed scheduler for a certain type of session into a website page? I know lead forms are now embeddable so I assume this feature is not too far out, but I am really hoping to be able to embed just a simple call booking scheduler like you can with Calendly. 

I want to be able to cc myself in an email to client sent from projects, is this possible?

Not only am I still extremely upset that Tasks have been moved complicating my workflow and adding time to it...now when I go into tasks I am seeing tons of tasks from 2021-2022 of which I have never seen before when viewing my tasks. WHY IS THIS HAPPENING?  This platform truly feels like a mess. 

I added a collaborator to a project and they received a late payment reminder directed to them by name, even though they are not on the contract. I submitted it to a support ticket and was told I should also post about it here… Anyone else have this issue? Mike

Make proposals easily shareable with anyone without having to input their information in the project for example we do weddings and with our clients sometimes needing to share our proposals with the wedding planners or the brides parents who would like to pay I know tave has this feature where it is easier to share. 

Are there any plans to introduce a public API or enhance the functionality of the Lead Forms? I’m brand new to HoneyBook, but have encountered some challenges with branding consistency and usability in HoneyBook forms, as well as limited integration options with third-party form and automation tools like Fillout and n8n. Use Cases: HoneyBook Lead Forms - Custom Font: When I embed my HoneyBook form on my website or share it via a direct link, it reverts to a serif font. If this isn’t a bug, it would be great to have the option to select a fallback font (even just a sans-serif option) to maintain brand consistency. HoneyBook Lead Forms - Address Field: The address field appears to lack validation, which makes it difficult to assess whether a lead is within a reasonable distance from my location. Users sometimes input incorrect or placeholder text, which complicates the qualification process.

Design Change REquest - please move the date and time to the top of the details, having to scroll overtime to add this is not fun or efficient. The top section is clearly geared to weddings, events photography or businesses, those of us that don't do that never use those fields...date and time are much more desired.

Is there a way to add more than one person to a meeting? I have clients who want to also add their partners/parents/etc to our monthly planning meetings. I am finding the calendar invite is only going to the first client, not the additional clients I add to the project.

I’d love to be able to add custom external links internally and within the client portal. For example, we have clients upload files to a Dropbox folder — I’d love to add the Dropbox file request link to HoneyBook so clients can go into their portal and have their HB questionnaires, invoices, HB notes, and custom external links all in one like a true client portal

Welp, HB went ahead and got rid of the Garamond font from email replies. They said it was because mac no longer fully supports it. So their solution was to get rid of it and not replace it with anything similar, Maybe like Didot? Or literally anything similar. Just take away something that is a big part of branding. Part of why this really bothers me is not only because of the font, a font that is used throughout my entire brand, blogs, emails, contracts and everything in between, but because this is yet another issue that has popped up over the last month with Honeybook. This crm is rapidly going down the drain and I’m starting to consider switching to something else. I’m sure there is a company that actually cares about their user base. Rant over. 

I currently have honeybook integrated with Google Calendar.  While my inquiries are marked as tentative on my honeybook calendar, when they integrate with my google calendar - the inquiries show as busy on the google calendar.  Does anyone have a work around for this? I would love for those to show as “Free” 

Hi everyone! I’m hoping somone has come across a solution with this. I use Meta Ad’s and just transitioned to Automations 2.0, although Ive come to notice that my automations wont trigger the way the OG automation system did. Because Meta uses it’s own instant form I’m curious if anyone has secret to getting them to trigger.  Thanks in advance for the solutions and feedback!!!

I’m not sure if I’m missing something, so please let me know if I’ve overlooked it and there is a simpler answer here regarding my beginning topic: client tags. I went on and listed some related things that are difficult for me now, in hopes that I can get some help with ways to currently workaround them. At the least, maybe someone else will want the same things and they can be requests.Some feedback on Client contact info… Recent updates have changed how I can add tags to clients. This is my main reason for posting, because I’m hoping I’m just missing something - it seems illogical how it currently works. Appreciate feedback! I like to see a client’s tags within the project, and be able to quickly add tags to the client. Now, even when I open the client workspace, I can’t add tags to that client. Nor can I when I search for the client’s name and open the workspace from there. Instead, I have to go to “Contacts” from the main menu

I really want to like the update automations, but there are somethings that are immediately frustrating. I’m trying to create an automation that will guide by booking process from lead form, connection call, proposal to signing/payment. But some key abilities are missing. Wait function does not allow for reminder to be send leading up to a scheduled call. Wait or condition function does not allow actions based on status changes You can’t automatically update tags based on condition. All of this means I have to set up multiple automations to complete one process. Has anyone found a workaround or am I missing something?

The move of the new task tab might be helpful in certain situations (haven’t thought of any yet) but it is slowing me down in having to open a new tab. I am clicking the circle to complete the next step and that isn’t working. It just tells me if I do it, it will send. Definitely don’t like this new feature.

I had a client who scheduled a quick consult with me which is set up as a video call in HB. However, the day of, they wanted to adjust the meeting method to a phone call. In the short term I created two separate session types, however, I realized that the lead form can only support one - so wasn’t really an efficient fix. Is there a way that at the time of booking, the client can select between phone or video options? Has anyone else ran into this need, and if so, how did you accommodate?
