Hi all!I joined HB in September as I launched my travel advising and event planning business, Kilohana Events and Travel (IG: @kilohanaevents). I’m currently based in San Antonio and have lived in Boston, New York, Phoenix and Arlington (VA). I’m a #milspouse with 20+ years in higher education event planning. I’ve taken my talents to start my own business (congrats to all of us!) and am excited to connect and learn from all of you.My business superpower is living in the intersection of events and luxury travel. I don’t see a yearly wrap up on my HB this year for 2025. Was that done away with? It was something I always look forward to in HB. 

I need to migrate my questionaires to smart files so they are living documents. I use them for planning. Prior to smart files being a thing I moved all my planning qustionaires to a different platform for DJs. That has gotton pricy. How do I easily migrate back to honeybook for planning forms and make it easy on my clients. I also want these to be living documents that both I and the the client can update during the planning process. Thanks for any help you all can provide.

would like the ability to add attachments to organizationsthen add detailed information to contacts that I add to thee organizationthen be able to add individuals from those organizations into a project seems like right now if I have 1+ contacts that are tied to an organization everything has to be duplicated. And when I try to add the contact as a collaborator, I'm often given errors that they already existing (email) so can't add them to a new project. and have to manually enter the info again.The idea is to have a way to identify and add my vendors easily to collaboration m client projects. And I also want to be able to add relevant fliers, price sheets, special notes etc to the organization and the details apply to the org and their services not the individual. at the end o f the day i woul like to manage my collaborators/vendors and clients in one CRM with ease of use.

I recently emailed this to the Honeybook Concierge. Would love it if others would comment, upvote, provide their experiences so far, etc.  I’m reaching out as a long-time user who relies heavily on automations to manage my client experience. I want to share some honest feedback about the new Automations 2.0 system, as I’ve encountered several challenges that are making my workflow more stressful and less efficient: Inability to Edit or Skip Steps for Individual Projects: Once an automation is running on a project, I can’t skip or remove steps for that specific client. If a step (like a welcome email) has already been completed manually or by a previous automation, I have no way to prevent it from being sent again without canceling the entire automation. It is awesome to allow clients to choose their plan and the number of split payments. However, we should have the authority or option to determine when the account should be settled. We require a two-week period before the event to finalize the balance, while HoneyBook automatically sets the last payment to be due one month after the first.

Has anyone gotten a compliment from a client because of something you set up in HoneyBook? (Like a smooth payment process, a quick response, or a beautiful proposal?) Would love to celebrate those wins together!One of my favorite ones is that my clients love that they can schedule their onboarding session right there in the proposal! 

I feel like this is highly helpful for many people for multiple reasons. In the post about “sunsetting” the tool it also says it will be around until May, however it is January 14th and the tool is already gone! This is really frustrating especially since its TAX SEASON!!! This tool was an amazing feature that helped with not only my taxes but was also needing it in going through a home construction loan process…. now I am going to have to double the work and re enter in all the information that is already in Honeybook into another system or spreadsheet to give my lenders the Profit and Loss statement they need.  VERY FRUSTRATED CUSTOMER!!

I would love to see a way for Honeybook to NOT mark projects as “booked” unless only specific contracts are signed/paid. We have an initial consult fee that, when sent to a client, will mark the project as “booked” when it actually is still very much a tentative project! Is there any way to get around this? Other than having to manually change the status? 

This is my first time in Honeybook community, and I’m not surprised to see this many people being as frustrated as me. I’m heavily considering switching crm’s once I reach my off season.  Automations should be so much more customizable than they are. A simple follow-up sequence to an inquiry that hasn’t responded should not be hard to achieve. It seems Honeybook automations are mostly only responsive to contracts being signed or files being finished. My client’s journey with me is a lot longer than paying and invoice and submitting a file.  Follow up automations would be extremely valuable for a few reasons: 1.) I get a lot of inquiries, and it’s difficult to remember to follow up with each of them during busy season. 2.) I get inquires from many different time zone. Automations that are designed to send to a client who didn’t respond to my inquiry response template within 3 days exactly would mean they’d be receiving my follow up at a time they can actua

As with the original automations workflow, automations 2.0 become cancelled within a project after being archived. Occasionally, I get leads that finally respond weeks after sending proposals which requires me to unarchive the project (of which I had many automations attached that are now cancelled). Is there a way to bring back the cancelled automations after unarchiving the project? I believe there was a way to do this with the old automations workflow, but there is no “uncancel” or “reactivate” option with the 2.0 automations and no way to add automations manually to the project from what I can see. Any help/thoughts???
