Y’all!!!  I was updating a contract template for one of my clients, who is a Marketing Agency and offers Social Media Management. I noticed that there are NEW Smart Fields available in a contract!It looks like if you have a Questionnaire or any Question blocks as part of your SmartFile, you'll now be able to pull in that content directly to the contract!!! I can see this working really well for Events, Photographers, Videographers, etc!! Here’s the drop down I got, based on the questions I had in her File, which is a Social Media Post Approval file: 

Hi HB community! I was just curious if anyone uses Honeybook to directly book short term rentals? For example, if I have a property that’s currently on AirBnb and I want to set up a website for direct booking… would it make sense to utilize all the automations and features in Honeybook to handle direct booking?Obviously I’d have to block off dates manually on the other places the property is listed, just curious if there is anyone out there doing this already.

Good evening, I am new to Honeybook and working through an issue right now. I have successfully created automations and I am stuck getting an automation to work after a scheduled appointment. Not sure if this is a problem with the software or am I missing something? I have gone through many video tutorials and step by step guides with no success.

Hi!Is there a way to send preferred vendors to clients?  I have vendors in my contacts, but it says I can only star them if they are in a project.  To me that doesn’t make sense since I want to send options to a client on vendors. Am I missing something?Thanks

Hey all. I’m a Real Estate photographer and when someone books me, they have several options to chose from that could change the length of the appointment. It’s pretty important to my clients and their homeowners to have a good estimate for how long I will be at a property so they can plan for my services.The issue I’m running into is if they book me with the HB scheduler, there’s really no good way to adjust the appointment length based off the options within my lead form.1. I can note inside the lead form that certain options may extend the estimated appointment time but that doesn’t feel as professional as I would like.2. Or I can make a different appointment type and different lead form version for EVERY COMBINATION of options…….. which I’m kind of refusing to do because of the sheer volume of things and the idea of attempting to keep that organized already has me stressed lol.Anyone know of any solutions for this type of workflow? I recently created an inquiry form under Lead Forms. This is the link I am putting in my bio for customers to submit their inquiries on before I connect further with them.My issue is when setting up an Automation, I am not finding the option to add my Lead Form. Only Smart Files which this is not located under. Can someone please explain how I can either add a Lead Form here OR convert a Lead Form to a Smart File?

I’m setting up automations (awesome, by the way), and I’m confused about something.  Here’s a snapshot for you to reference.I need the automation to be generated based on the project end date which are always manually entered by us but this says “when they come in via the contact form.”  What am I missing?

Hello! Does anyone happen to know how to auto add more clients to my projects? Example, I have my senior parents typically make the initial inquiry but during my booking project smart file I get the info for the senior and parent’s info so they can both be in the project. I have to manually then pull senior name/email into the project but was hoping to find a way to make this easier if possible :)

Hello! I was hoping someone could help me figure out how to connect data together via intake forms and smart files. I currently have my clients enter their address into a smart file when they’re booking their sessions and was hoping to find a way to make that auto populate into their contracts/proposals as well as save as part of their client contact information. I find it super annoying that when a new project is created the cover photo automatically populates to something random. I want to be able to keep the SAME cover photo for every single project I have, which is my logo. I do not want to have to go in and manually change it every single time. Please make this an option for us! Thank you!!

I am a venue owner and we get a lot of inquiries for dates. After I book a client, the booked event sometimes gets buried on the month view and I can’t tell if that day is open or not for other weddings unless I scroll through or uncheck tentative projects. Is there any way to pin the booked events to the top of the calendar for those dates so they always show?

Has anyone had this happen before? I’ve never been given this type of a message.Back story - client has filled in contact forms twice, but have I haven’t received either. I did vet this client and this is legit.I’m going to manually add her, but this comes up when trying to enter her email address. Has anyone had this? I’m wondering if it’s because she’s filled in contact forms before (even though I can’t find them!).

I just created my new services and pricing guide as a smart file, but I’d also like to share the file with prospective clients (and vendors) who may not have a client project set up in HoneyBook. How can I share - via link - without them having to input their email address and then finding out that they don’t have a client project? 

Does anyone know the best way to go about hiring a second shooter or assistant for a wedding? I used to use the Opportunities portal to hire my seconds and I am hoping with the new Community feature there is a good way to do that? 

We’ve got a custom stage in our pipeline… but using it for a while, so it’s not NEWWe added an automation to MOVE PEOPLE to that stage after some tasks  ALLLLLLLLL of the projects from that stage DISAPPEARED today! 8 missing projects.  I know there’s been some tinkering with all of these “new pipeline” features… but missing projects is a MASSIVE problem.  Anyone else??? 

First - I am still trying to figure out projects vs. clients.I have started using HB simply for an event (one date), though I can use it down the road for what it seems to be intended for - a CRM.Shouldn’t I have a PROJECT as an event (again, one date - multiple vendors) or should I call this something different.Many thanks,Donna

Why isn't there anywhere in Honey Book that shows a complete itemization of project types, or items sold? It would be very useful to know how many of an item I sold in each project. For instance, I have no idea how much ice I sold versus how much I spent. Even in the expense report I can't see that as an individual item for expenses. Does that make sense?If there is a way to do this, please let me know!
